Like everybody, I feel angry, frustrated, sad and confused from time to time - but the difference now is that I have the tools at my fingertips to help me get past these feelings and into a better place mentally.

It doesn't mean I never feel stressed, but it does mean that I let go and move on pretty quickly these days! I used to wait until the pain was really bad before facing and dealing with a particular issue - which is quite a common reaction. Now I see stress as a helpful indicator that I need to change something in my life - usually an unhelpful thought pattern - and I make adjustments before I hit the pain barrier!

The majority of my working life has been in the corporate world - mainly working in public relations. Occasionally, I've experienced extreme amounts of stress which turned me into a moody, work-focused, unhealthy being! My relationships suffered as did my social life and my health. If only I knew then what I know now!

I've trained in and experimented with many different fields of alternative therapies/treatments/techniques which have given me a great pool to draw from. These include Coaching*, Thought Field Therapy (TFT)*, The Sedona Method*, Hypnosis*, Chinosis*, Counselling, Bach remedies, Aromatherapy, Reiki*, Tai Chi, Feng Shui and Stephen Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Basically, if it's simple and effective, I'm interested!
